Friday, 6pm

Afrobeat.

Xcape is an all ladies band that consists of 5 members majoring in both vocals and instruments.
We have Zvikomborero Matimba on bass, Kudzai Murandu (a.k.a. Kay K) on vocals and acoustic Guitar, Nonny Muhoni on vocals and keys, Pamela on drums and Lerato aka Lee on marimba, mbira and vocals.

This ladies band stands for empowering females in the music industry and beyond with the goal of uplifting all the women around the world through music, also voicing out issues that affect women like gender based violence, sexual harassment etc.

The Xcape ladies band is a presentation and symbolism of women coming together not only in music but in society, holding each other’s hands to be one and voice out our worries as women.
