In 2021 we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the city twinning between Munich and Harare on the weekend from September 3 to 5 with a major music festival!
Due to the pandemic, our MUHAG 2021 festival could only happen online. We turned this restriction into an opportunity: Online we were able to feature a mixed programme with 9 bands from Harare and Munich each – and show it in both cities! Something that would be impossible to arrange with live performances. A high-class lineup of 17 artists and bands music from jazz and afrobeat to rock, from folklore to classical and storytelling.
Our festival shows are still available online for those who didn’t find the time to watch, yet.
Maybe now is the right moment to share some friendly MUHAG vibes together with friends in your home or garden. We hope you’ll enjoy them to the fullest!
