Storytelling & Music transform the stage into a pulsating marketplace

Tormenta Jobarteh tells his own stories and tales from the oral traditions in Africa and the Orient with a lot of humor. The multiple award-winning white griot tells from the heart with great power and rousing liveliness! Stories of kings, servants, outcasts, of renunciation, longing for wealth, and again and again of love and the true values of life.

His storytelling has brought him to the biggest storytelling festivals, including Colombia and over 1000 events around the world.

Feat. Vengai Manyanga from Zimbabwe on Mbira
